Open Call for Artists
At ETKultur, we are looking for artists from all disciplines who would like to take part in a social and committed project that promotes empathy, acceptance and integration in today's society through artistic expression.

We are looking for:

Creativity, flexibility and openness.

Interest in a process that focuses on translating events and emotions of a migration experience lived by someone else (the narrator) into a co-created artwork.
We offer you:

The experience of creating a work of art together with your tandem partner (the storyteller) and the artistic community of the project.

Space for creative exchange, interdisciplinarity, participation and teamwork.

The opportunity to get to know people from different cultures, age groups, professions and religions.

Active reflection on migration issues with a focus on social change.

Assumption of all costs incurred in consultation with ETKultur.

A period of about 3 months to develop the work (July to September 2025).
Project duration until the exhibition: June to November 2025.
Requirements
-
Proven experience and training in an artistic field.

Enjoy working in an intercultural, interdisciplinary and intergenerational environment.

Flexibility, openness and social commitment in artistic practice.

Participation in the kick-off event on June 12th, 2025.

Willingness to actively participate in the activities in all 3 phases of the project

(June to exhibition period). Participation in at least 80% of the meetings required
-
Willingness to create an original artwork for this project in collaboration with a Tandem partner.

Delivery of the artwork in the last week of September 2025.
