Translating Migratory Experiences into Art

OPEN CALL  2023

ARTISTS

At ETKultur, we are looking for artists of any discipline who are interested in participating in a social and engaging project that promotes empathy, acceptance and inclusion in today's society through artistic manifestations.

  • We are looking for creativity, flexibility, openness and interest in participating in a process that focuses on translating the events and emotions associated with a migration experience that someone else has gone through into a collaboratively created work of art.

We offer you

  •  The experience of creating a work of art together with your tandem partner and the artistic community involved in the project.

  • Space for creative exchange and interdisciplinarity as well as participation, respect and teamwork.

  • The opportunity to meet people from other cultures, age groups, professions and beliefs.

  • Collaborative work, actively thinking about migration issues with a focus on making a difference in the society in which you live.

  • All costs incurred in carrying out your work will be covered by ETKultur. The average time for the development of the work is 3 months, from July to September 2024. The opening to the final exhibition will be October 2024.
