Participation, dialogue, community, living together

Come over and join us! We have an open stage that was set up entirely by students! The students do research on sustainability and we combine this with sustainable community building! 

PROGRAM

Friday September 11th 2020

5:30 p.m .: Opening speech by the following actors: Schoolchildren, Integration Funding of the City of Zurich, School Management Im Birch, Verein Funk, Quartierverein Affoltern, Construction Playground Affoltern and InterAct! from the ExpoTranskultur association.  6 p.m .: presentation . The students present the results of their working week on the topic of sustainability.

7:00 pm: Concert, “Aurelia” , pop music.

8:30 p.m .: end of program.

Saturday September 12th 2020

11:00 am - 8:30 pm: Community art exhibition on the walls of the construction playground.

Art exhibition "Affoltern" - from the " art und werk " studio.

11:00 am - 5:00 pm: The team from GZ Affoltern offers a colorful and sustainable program for "everyone":

• For the       Smaller ones (but also for the bigger ones): knead clay, try it out,       shape funny sculptures. We distribute these on the meadow and       leave them to mother earth again.
• For the       Bigger ones (but also for the smaller ones): We draw YOURS with wool       Quartier, we stretch YOUR paths, YOUR favorite places. This is yours       Affoltern visible.
• For       really EVERYONE: playing, balancing, making soap bubbles etc. (possibly up to 18       Clock expandable).

11:00 am - 3:00 pm : Book exchange , Zehntenhaus community library. Meeting point and literary conversation between neighbors. Would you like to talk to someone about a book? Bring a book that you read at home and take another one with you from the Zehntenhaus neighborhood club's mobile library.  1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m .: Colored wool crochet studio . We will weave woolen nets together, get to know each other and talk.  4:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Concert “Borumbaia” , music school for percussion. Enjoy the rhythm and the sound of the drums.

4:45 pm: “Manakin” , dance performance by Liliana Torres .

5:15 pm: Discussion , “Socially sustainable communities: What can we do to create them?” Participants: Network Affoltern, Association “About Us” Zurich, Architecture for Refugees SWITZERLAND, InterAct! from the ExpoTranskultur association.

7:00 pm: Concert by the duo “ naked ”. Nadine Arnet and Ivo Caponio are together the duo "naked". Her style is a hearty mixture of soulful pop-funk-country-reggae-feelgood sound. Pure, acoustic, light summery and touching.

8:30 p.m .: end of program.

Sunday 13th September 2020

11:00 am - 8:30 pm: Community art exhibition on the walls of the construction playground.

11:00 am - 3:00 pm : Book exchange , Zehntenhaus community library. Meeting point and literary conversation between neighbors. Would you like to talk to someone about a book? Bring a book that you read at home and take another one with you from the Zehntenhaus neighborhood club's mobile library.

11:00 am - 3:00 pm : "Interactive art installation " Path of Desires " with the " art und werk " studio. We paint stones with our wishes for Affoltern and together form the “path of wishes”.

4 p.m .: Concert , Valentin Baumgartner and Tome Iliev - Gypsy Balkan Swing.

5:30 p.m .: end of program

Community Art Event

Participation, dialog, togetherness, comunidad

Join us and be part of a three-day event! We have an open scene which was constructed by the students from Schule Im Birch! We connected their take on sustainability with sustainable bonding of our community. The event is the result of a collaboration between the Affoltern district association, InterAct! in Affoltern * and various institutions engaged in Affoltern ZH.
